Dirt Cheap Games #4

We have another long weekend coming up. Unfortunately, however, if you don’t have a game to keep you occupied, I might not have something for you. There’s not a lot of sales going on this Memorial Day, which is kind of disappointing.

But, Green Man Gaming is offering Disciples II: Gold Edition for free. That’s right, free. The game’s a bit dated but you’re still going to have fun with it. So, if you haven’t played this awesome turn-based strategy game, now’s your chance to pick it up with no cost.

Dungeons of Dredmor. A fun, roguelike game.

Steam doesn’t have a lot either. But you can play Civilization V over the weekend. If you happen to like it, you can grab for $7.50. Steam also put a lot of their indie games on sale. You can pick up great indie titles like Braid or The Binding of Isaac for less than $3. That’s a deal right there. Personally, I picked up an indie RPG called Dungeons of Dredmor for $2.50. From the looks of it, seems like a pretty fun game.

On the MMO side, EVE: Inferno can be bought for less than $7 on Steam. Then, RIFT on Amazon Downloads only cost $6.

There are other cheap games on Amazon Downloads as well. Saints Row: The Third is only at $16.50. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, which is a pretty great action RPG, is also at $30. It’s still a bit pricey. So, I’d wait a little longer for better deals. But, if you’re itching to play this game. Now’s your change to grab the game for half its original price.

So, that’s it for this issue of Dirt Cheap Games. Like I said, not a lot of good sales. But, at least, you have one free game. Hopefully, we’ll have better bargains in the following weeks.
